As the founder of Patron Health I bring a unique, diverse, and deep knowledge of the economic ecosystem in US Healthcare. I'm a seasoned healthcare leader with nearly 20 years of experience, specializing in the intricate connections of the healthcare payer and provider worlds. My focus is on leveraging technology to create cohesive, effective operations across the entire ecosystem. I work to tie together the disparate vendors—from claims adjudication and benefits management to cost containment and member engagement platforms—into a unified system that improves efficiency, enhances data flow, and delivers a better experience for all stakeholders.
I have a degree in Health Care Administration from George Fox University, where I graduated top of my class and am part of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. I was also accepted as a Graduate Candidate in Dartmouth College's Masters in Health Care Delivery Science program.

I specialize in developing and scaling innovative cost containment strategies for both small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and large enterprise health plans. My approach involves a comprehensive understanding of the entire healthcare ecosystem, allowing me to design effective plans that reduce costs without compromising quality of care.
I have extensive experience in direct contracting negotiations with top health systems and managing the payer implementation process. This work has allowed me to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and to design effective strategies that benefit both providers and payers.

I have a proven track record of leading product management from TPA product lines to enterprise payer solutions. I have led the development of innovative solutions that streamline operations, enhance data flow, and improve outcomes. Policy and Regulation
I served as a chairperson for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where I played a key role in the development and implementation of landmark legislation. This includes the No Surprises Act, which protects consumers from unexpected medical bills, the Transparency in Healthcare Act, aimed at making healthcare costs more accessible, and the CARES Act, which provided critical relief during the pandemic. My work in this area has given me a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to navigate complex policy challenges.
